GCK Alumni

A College having a standing of 50 years would definitely have former students well placed by now. The alumni was formed to provide a platform to the former students wherein they can keep freequenting their Alma Materl and thereby ensure the continuity of their sense of belonging. It is an elating fact that most of the successful industrialists have received their education in Government College, Kishangarh. Shri Ashok Patni is the person who with his perseverance, diligence and hard work has been able to include the name of R. K. Marbles in Guinness Book of World Records. It is only through the exuberant Marble Empire set by him that unemployment has been wiped away from Kishangarh. Due to his effort's, thousands of hands have found employment. He is doyen of all business available in Kishangarh and due to the fact that he has been instrumental in allowing the otherwise unemployed people making their both the hands meet and it is therefore he has very rightly earned the Sobriquet of Messiah. He never wanted to be a banyan tree, contrarily he persuaded the budding youth of the city for self-employment.

Shri Atul Luhadia and some other former students have entered in the field of Power Production by Non Conventional Sources. They are producing 15 MW Power at Jaisalmer by Wind Power Plants.

One of our former student Shri S. N. Modani has established Sangam Group of Textile Industries in Bhilwara with an annual turn over of about Rs. 1000 Crores. Besides the business of yarn and synthetic cloth production, he has also set up Engineering College, Business School and a well equipped modern state of the art Hospital.

The students passed out of this college have also exhibited brilliance in the field of law and Judiciary. The exuberance exhibited by our former students in the field of administrative service is remarkable. Through their incessant labour and hard work, our former students acquire high posts in administrative services.

More than 200 former students of our college have clicked through CA, CS, ICWA, MBA and are presently on high posts in many Establishments, Famous Business Houses and financial Institutions.

In the field of Journalism also, our former students have shown their acumen. Noted among them are :
1. Shri Jai Singh Kothari (Patrika and Nafa Nuksan)
2. Shri Anil Mathur (PTI)

The field of medicine is also not untouched by our students. Many of our former students are giving their services to Hospitals and Medical Colleges.

Some of our former students have chosen engineering as their career and are working in many recognized offices in India and abroad. Some of them made 'RESEARCH ' their field of choice and are well placed in DRDO, BARC, IPR etc.

Rajasthan is known as the land of the braves and keeping in view this phrase many of our students have joined Army, BSF, CRPF and some of them have acquired high ranks.

Imparting Knowledge has always been the holiest of all services. The field of teaching has always attracted our students. Many of our previous students are presently working as Lecturers in-our college.

ALUMNI is established this year keeping in view of providing assistance and the development of the college and by the help and aid of former students in providing opportunities for employment to our present students. A committee with -Shri Ashwini Garg, Dean, Faculty of Science as its coordinator has been formed to. yoke together its spread out members and thereby giving in the status of a well defined organization. The fundamental functions of this committee will be to contact famous and enthusiastic persons (former students) in order to receive necessary aids, scholarships, placement and employment for our students.

Aims of the Alumni

To make efforts for the upliftment of the trends, activities and standard of higher education.
To encourage active participation of its former students for the development of the college.
To establish a link between the old GCK students and the college.
To make plan for the development of the college and ensure its effective implementation.
To identify the donors who are willing to come forward and make monetary contributions.
To utilize the resources and funds for the development of the college and its students.
To provide the necessary information and guidelines for the employment/self employment of the talented students of the college.
To support and encourage young talented and needy students in achieving their goals.
To organize programs and activities to attain the objectives of the Alumni.

The world, shrinking into a global village, has done away with the limitations of distance that hinder the bonds of love and friendship. Thus, former students of this college, who are settled in various walks of life, are invited to associate themselves with this institution – their own Alma Mater to nourish it, flourish it.
